Tips and hintsDo not eat anything in the two hours up to the start of the races. Drink plenty of fluid until 30 minutes before the start of the races. Run in short leggings, a running top and good running shoes (do not wear new running shoes). Warm up before the start. Stretch out thoroughly after the race. Do not participate if you feel unwell or have been ill shortly before the race day. You can transfer your entry fee to next year’s event. Run at your own pace. Pay attention to the race officials’ announcements. The organisers have done everything they can to ensure your safety, but please remember that you are participating at your own risk. Show consideration for the other people on the beach. Doping tests may be carried out. Nature protectionPlease do not cross the dunes anywhere other than on the signposted access trails.
