Therefore, please arrive in good time. If it is considered irresponsible to hold the event on the beach due to adverse physical conditions, the organisers reserve the right to cancel. The entry fee will not be refunded. Injury/illnessIf, after registration, you are prevented from taking part, you may transfer your enrolment fee to next year’s event as long as you inform the organizers by sending a mail or written notice to info@beachmarathon.com. by July th 2013.. SafetyThe organisers have arranged for first aid and information services at all refreshment posts and in the finishing area. Ambulances and medical staff will be on stand-by at the event. If you run out of energy, the van will pick you up. If you can make it to the next refreshment post or information post, wait there and the race officials will inform the personnel in the finishing area that you have dropped out. Changing rooms and showers There are facilities for washing and changing in Hvide Sande Hallen (about 1 km from the finishing area – see map).. Valuables/clothesPlease put valuables and clothes in a bag or plastic bag bearing your start number and hand it to the officials in the starting areas. Remember to bring warm clothes for after the race. Luggage from the starting points will be transported to the finishing area. Please collect your luggage immediately after the race. Luggage will be returned on presentation of your start number. Entrants for the 5 km and 10 km routes deliver and collect their luggage at the finishing area. Running clothes left at the refreshment posts during the race can be collected from the luggage collection point in the finishing area.

Route descriptionsAll courses are run on flat sand with no inclines. The beach is firm and solid between Henne Mølleå (Kærgaard) and Vejers. There are signs every full kilometre, counting downwards from the starting point in Vejers to the finishing area in Hvide Sande. The 5 and 10 km are ˝back and forth˝ routes starting and finishing at Hvide Sande Southbeach. At the turning points, all participants will be given a control ribbon to wear. This ribbon can be exchanged for a medal at the finishing line. The 10 km and 5 km routes have their own signposts |
